In this day of decreasingly creative “method dressing” for actors, we are positively thrilled to see Star Trek: Discovery star Sonequa Martin-Green completely avoid even the slightest whiff of cosplay as she sat down with Colbert to talk about the show’s upcoming final season. Instead, this Starfleet captain is looking ready for a killer beach party.
Having said that, the print itself is looking a bit “restroom decor” to us. We liked it better when she was walking out because the belt actually does a lot for the shape, although we would’ve loved a solid belt in a complementary color rather. All of the aforementioned pales in comparison to her spectacular hair, which is the real star of the show here. The earrings are pretty nice too.
