Darlings, we would feel remiss in our duties if we did not share the bounty that the content goddesses have bestowed upon us this week. The stars are out and they’re serving looks. It’s time for you to take over the judging duties while we take short power naps. Fallout star Ella Purnell has been seemingly shouldering the burden of promoting the new series entirely by herself, serving up a succession of looks that we’d never call low-key or unassuming. We approve of the tactic even if we don’t always approve of the results. Case in point:

We guess someone in the marketing team thought it would be cute to make the backdrop look a little post-apocalyptic, but it’s a shitty setting for pictures. In a similar vein, we think iridescent pieces seem fun in theory but they never look great to us on red carpets. Still, we like the color and she’s styled pretty well. The earrings are gorgeous. The crystal trim is a little heavy and we hate the bows, but we tend to think this is all working a little bit better than it has a right to. You make the call:

ABOUT THE SERIES:
Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them. From executive producers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy, the creators of Westworld, starring Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins and more. All episodes arrive April 11 on Prime Video.
