It’s time to wrap up our coverage of the 2024 Oscars, darlings. We still have a ton of after-party looks to judge, but the main event attendees need to line themselves up for judging. If you’ve missed any of our coverage, shame on you, but at least you can get caught up on it here.
Annette Bening in Giorgio Armani

We like the idea of the look more than the look. The duster is gorgeous, but the pajamas underneath don’t really do anything for it and the sandals look too casual. There’s a way too do this sort of look while still looking formal and put together.
Ava DuVernay in Louis Vuitton

The color is gorgeous on her but those luggage straps are awful.
Becky G in Vera Wang

It’s fine.
Billie Eilish in Chanel

This is the first time where her schtick just didn’t work for us. You’re at the Oscars as a nominee. Why dress like a mismatched grandma?
Catherine O’Hara in Rodarte

Flawless.
Charlize Theron in Dior Couture

That dress is a drab, half-assed mess. She deserves better.
Erika Alexander in Christian Siriano

The worst dressed of the night. Christian, what happened?
Gabrielle Union (in Carolina Herrera) and Dwyane Wade (in Atelier Versace)

They look stunning and we love the stiffness of her ensemble.
Greta Gerwig in Gucci

It’s simple, elegant and flattering, but the color does nothing for her.
Greta Lee in Loewe

Looks great from the back, dumb from the front.
Hailee Steinfeld in Elie Saab Couture

Tacky and overdesigned. Nana’s powder room in dress form.
Issa Rae in AMI Paris

Hot.
Jamie Lee Curtis in Dolce & Gabbana

It’s a pretty great look, but we don’t like the matte finish of the dress and the jewelry situation is a little unbalanced.
Jessica Lange in Dolce & Gabbana

A classic looking classic.
Jodie Foster in Loewe

It’s pretty enough, but it feel… we don’t know, unresolved somehow? Like they didn’t have time to finish the dress.
Kate McKinnon in Akris

Sharp and on point. Would’ve liked a brooch or a pocket square or even a boutonniere.
Kirsten Dunst and Jesse Plemons in Gucci

Low-key lovely.
Melissa McCarthy in Dena Kemp

Either wear an opera coat over your gown or don’t. This weird half-garment is not cutting it.
Michelle Yeoh in Balenciaga Couture

It looks very heavy, but we love the competing silvers.
Octavia Spencer in Tadashi Shoji

It’s nice enough, but we feel like something should’ve been done to bump up the styling a little.
Regina King in Atelier Versace

Love the color, hate the collar.
Rita Moreno in Badgley Mischka

We can’t tell if the Chita Rivera wig is a flex or an homage, but we don’t think it looked all that great on her. The dress is great, though.
Simu Liu (in Fendi) and Allison Hsu (in Antonio Grimaldi)

They both look great, although that curtain rod coming out of her back has got to be annoying.
