It’s Friday (at the time of writing this), so let’s look at attractive men making questionable style choices. Mary & George stars Nicholas Galitzine and Tony Curran took very different approaches to their style choices for the series premiere in LA.

Oh look. Someone made a depressed tuxedo. Poor Thom Browne. He kicked off a tiny suit trend that lasted a full decade (and is still playing out in the real world, away from the red carpets), but he’s had to watch the post-pandemic response to that trend go to extremes (as so many post-pandemic responses tend to). We liked it when suits first went slouchy and louche, but now all the celebrity dudes are walking around looking like 12-year-olds trying to get into a strip club.

The suit is nice, but he needs a belt, the footwear would be better off in a brown or oxblood, and the shiny shirt needs to be burned. We continue to implore aging celebrity men to take a tip from their female contemporaries and pay someone good money to eradicate their grays. You can’t buy it in a drugstore or get it in a bottle. It just winds up looking like you used a magic marker.
