You can tell things are getting down to the wire on the Oscar campaigning front, because a whole bunch of nominees really stepped up their game for the SAG Awards. We haven’t really liked Barbie star America Ferrara’s choices of late, but we felt we needed to do her a solid and point out when she got one right. Or at least, she got one that we really like, which is the same thing, for our purposes.

It’s quietly whispers “You’re damn right I’m a prestige actress.” The elegance is subdued and restrained, which makes it all the more chic. There’s a real trend for black on the red carpet right now and personally, we can’t wait for it to be over soon (we suspect the Oscars will mark a return to color), but we can’t get mad at this relatively simple design at all. She looks impeccable.
