We’ve always been big fans of Kristen Stewart’s queer/butch/punk take on Chanel, but we feel like we have to apologize for this post. Not that we had anything to do with the choices she made to wear on the red carpet at the Berlin International Film Festival. It’s just that we feel like we’ve been showing you a lot of ugly frocks and getups today and we feel bad for your poor battered sensibilities. We promise to show you something pretty soon. There. No, girl. Absolutely not. We dig the mullet and we think the suit is pretty cute, although the cuffed sleeves and the bralette aren’t working. Still, we almost convinced ourselves that this was all working until we got to the knee-highs. What the hell, K? That looks awful.

Y’know? We actually spent a decent amount of time staring at this and trying to decide if its… unique combination of elements might actually be working. We hate the sheer skirt and we hate the shiny white tights, but when we look at the runway styling, it kind of works. She’s trying to imbue it with a lot of attitude and we don’t think that’s what this outfit calls for.
