Joe Keery and Lily James have this really cute-looking Italian film opening and they came to the Rome premiere looking like movie stars, which is how you should look when you’re on the red carpet at a Rome premiere.

This is pretty great. Love the color, love the shoes, grateful that he posed with the jacket buttoned. Personally, we’re not in love with the blue shirt choice, but it’s not a dealbreaker for us. Still, we strongly feel that either black or white would’ve worked better.
Lily James in Valentino Couture
Smart girlies know that you’d be a fool to show up at a Rome premiere in anything but an iconic Italian brand. We feel like the lack of color isn’t helping the design and also that she needed more aggressive styling (the limp hair and relatively demure jewelry isn’t cutting it), but it’s pretty and comes off a bit effortless.
ABOUT THE MOVIE:
– A young Roman woman during the 1950s is on the verge of becoming engaged to a man. She goes to Cinecittà to do an audition as an extra and is thrust into this almost infinite night during which she discovers herself.
– Starring Lily James, Rebecca Antonaci, Joe Keery, Rachel Sennott, Alba Rohrwacher and Willem Dafoe.
