Here’s Queen Helen of the sovereign nation of Fuckinfantastica in a very plain dress.
Granted, we figure the Cinema For Peace Gala is probably the right time and place to go plain, so let’s quibble about the details. The earrings are fabulous. We are very confused about her bare left thumbnail. And that ombre yellow hair is deeply, deeply unfortunate. If we may be permitted a somewhat delicate observation, she seems to want to do just about anything to avoid the cliche hairstyles imposed on senior women, but she often over-corrects and make choices that are clearly better suited to the young, like puffy headbands or tricky dye jobs. Ironically, she always looked her best with a short bob, but she seems determined to avoid it.
