All the stars who aren’t campaigning for Oscars are at the Sundance Film Festival, where the dress code is largely non-existent. Let’s judge what everyone wore anyway!

This is almost too sharp for Sundance. Given the cut of the jacket and the textile blocking in the skirt, we think that jacket has to be worn the normal way in order for this to work. Honestly, it looks a little silly hanging off her so precariously.

Pretty, well-coordinated people in fabulous coats and jackets. What more could you want from Sundance? Aside from some killer boot action, that is? She’s serving.

Aubrey Plaza

This is cute, but she should’ve gone for opaque tights.

Bella Heathcote

A fun way to make a sparkly red carpet-appropriate minidress look apres-ski appropriate.

Dave Franco

No problems with any of this. Love the boots.

Meh. If you’re going to the trouble of foregoing sleeves in a setting where everyone else is wearing sweaters and coats, wouldn’t you want the dress to be interesting? This might look cuter with a fuzzy cardigan over it.

Jesse Eisenberg

Venue-appropriate and sporting a really nice jacket.

From the left: Absolutely serving, from her oversized cap to her witch boots. Cute but also needs opaque tights. See above. Comfy and warm, which is fine by us. Dressed for LA.

LOVE. But the boots really need to be brown.

Riley Keogh

A fun, chic cold weather look. Love the coat. Hate the First Holy Communion tights.

Sebastian Stan

Low effort, no prob.

Simone Ashley

The dress is okay. It’s really all about those insanely hot boots.

Her coat is pretty great, but we don’t like the block fringe on the sleeve and the Burberry tag looks tacky. His coat is interesting.

Will Sharpe, Jennifer Grey, Kieran Culkin, and Jesse Eisenberg

From the left: It’s giving “dad at the mall circa 1990.” Everything here is working and we love the boots. Everything here is working and we love the kicks. Everything here is working, except the suit jacket.
