Kristen Stewart is in her glory at Sundance. Not because she’s got two films screening at the festival, not because she gets to hang with her mentor Jodie Foster, her various co-stars and her fiance Dylan Meyer. Sure, we bet all of those things are making her happy at the moment. But we think it’s the dress code that’s really got her pumped. Sundance is one of the few industry events with red carpets where she can fully be herself and not have anyone call her on it.

Granted, she kept things contractually appropriate by getting one good Chanel look out of the way. It looks great on her and we think the styling is exactly right for it. If you’re being paid to wear Chanel, you might as well wear their name and logo all over you. This concludes (for now) Kristen Stewart’s contractual obligations. After that, your girl went butch.

Personally, we have no idea how she’s navigating these events in crop tops, but we presume she must have some killer outerwear stashed somewhere. You might see a few people at Sundance in dressier looks than this, but we don’t think there’s a thing about it that’s inappropriate. Half the male directors and stars are going to events in hoodies and jeans. Anyway, the pants are really nice. Personally, we think they call for a better top, but we’re not mad at this one. It’s all just so very her.

Again, we question her taste in public t-shirts (there are so many better options than these), but we’re not mad at it. In fact, we kinda love that Carhartt jacket.
