Miss Taraji ditched the purple ensembles and the cozy sweater dresses in order to get her shimmer if no her shimmy on in the perfect holiday party frock as she headed into the Colbert studios to promote The Color Purple.
We don’t know if she was coming from another press event or an actual holiday party, because she wore something entirely different on the show, but even if this was just a walking-in look, it’s fun. The green looks great on her and the python print keeps it from looking too holiday-cliche. Having said that, we’re glad she didn’t wear it inside.
Because this is just spectacular on her. We want to say it’s wasted on a talk show appearance, but actually, it’s so perfectly telegenic.
