Adam Driver and Penelope Cruz received waivers from SAG AFTRA allowing them to appear on the red carpet at the premiere of Ferrari at the New York Film Festival. They did what so many stars with promotional waivers are opting to do at the moment:
The bare minimum. Then again, it’s a little hard to tell with these two, since their non-strike red carpet styles don’t tend to differ all that much from what we’re seeing here.

He always shows up dressed like a studio executive. We can’t really work up any anger over it, since he clearly puts the effort in to show up looking professional, even if this corporate style doesn’t really suit his profession. We’re never going to see the guy in a velvet Gucci, so we may as well just shrug and move on. He looks fine.
Penélope Cruz in Chanel
You know, we’re just gonna say it. That’s an ugly print. We dislike the ruffled shoulder/sleeve treatment and we think the black accessories are poorly chosen, but none of that matters because that print is unsalvageable. Just hideous.
