Everyone’s dressing plainly in Milan! The Gucci show front row was an exercise in minimalism, Cate’s pulling 15-year-old rewears out of her closet for Armani, and now here comes the Prada gang, in their neutrals and sensible shoes. For those of you who thought fashion was getting a little too outrageous of late, it seems there’s a course correction currently underway. The party is over, it would seem.

It’s a cute, classic style that suits her, but the skirt’s just a little too voluminous. It might look better if it wasn’t white.

This is fantastic. The colors look great on her and the classic style really suits her.

Love the shoes, love the coat, We’re not feeling the toucan shirt, but we like the cut on those pants. It feels a little fresh to us after all the flares and skinnies of the last few years.

Can’t really object to any of it, even if it is a little on the dull side.

Maybe extravagance isn’t completely dead. Can’t really call that top “minimalist,” after all. It’s kind of ugly, but the rest of the outfit is cute. Love the shoes.

He’s not like other dads, he’s a cool dad. We love everything except the white socks and the cargo pockets. It all feels like a more upscale take on the kind of outfits a million guys wear on any given day.

Looks great. She wears women’s suits better than pretty much any other ladystar we can think of. Love the little touches of gold in the buttons and jewelry.

Again: no objections; not even to the cutout. The whole look has a feeling of elegant restraint (yes, even the cat ears on the shoes) to it that looks great on her.
