After two months with virtually no red carpet action, we’re getting the VMAs, multiple film festivals, New York Fashion Week and the rather star-studded Kering Foundation “Caring For Women” dinner. Publicists, we’re mad at you. Grateful for the content, but annoyed you’re throwing it at us all at once. We want to savor it! After all, the strikes are still ongoing and once we get past this brief explosion of celebrity style, we’ll be out in the hinterlands once again. Looks like we’ll just have to milk the hell out of it. And speaking of brief explosions, here’s Nicole Kidman, dressed like a Chic Swiffer Duster:

She looks like one of the singing household items in Beauty & the Beast. It almost works, and we have to give her poise and working-it abilities a lot of credit for it, but at the end of the day, she’s modeling dryer sheets. Nicole, we’re only saying this because we Care For Women.
