It’s been a minute or two since we covered Jennifer Lawrence on a full-blown worldwide promo tour, which is why we burst out laughing when we saw this look, for the Madrid premiere of No Hard Feelings.

We forgot how wildly inconsistent her style tends to be. To be fair, it makes good sense to sport Loewe at film premiere in Madrid. Folks love to see a movie star support a local house, after all, like wearing McQueen in London or Dior in Paris or Valentino in Rome. And the house is known for its offbeat, vaguely intellectual vibe. We won’t deny it’s a dress that made us look twice. And it’s possible that we’d have responded better to this if it had been in a rich color that flatters her instead of this near-skin tone. But regardless of whatever concessions we might make as to this dress’s worth, there’s no denying our first impression, which is that it looks like an ironing board cover with boobs.
