The world is gearing up for another round of And Just Like That (the first two episodes of the second season dropped today) and as always, Sarah Jessica Parker is ready, willing and able to do her promotional duties. She’ll never not do what it takes to keep Carrie Bradshaw alive, it sometimes seems. She did the whole lighting of the Empire State Building thing (a New York promotional tour tradition), which feels like something Carrie would be asked to do.

But we have to say, we’re a little surprised at how toned-down the look is. Back in the day, you could’ve expected SJP to show up in a skirt the size of a small European car for an event like this. It’s almost cute in a breezy, low-key sort of way (the ponytail’s a nice touch), but we really loathe that bow – not just on principle but because it looks dingy next to the white cardigan and gimmicky paired with polka dot shoes. Remove that one element and this whole look would be perfect. Catch up on those episodes, because we are going to have a LOT to say about them in tomorrow’s podcast.
