We hate ourselves for so easily abandoning our essential cynical blogger attitudes, but dammit…

They got us. Hook, line and sinker.

Granted, we were always going to be recapping this season on our podcast, just as we did last season. But this trailer may just have removed the implied “begrudgingly” part of that sentence. Permanently? We’ll see. But for just this moment, we’re willing to believe that And Just Like That season 2 might go a little more smoothly than its first season. Having said that, it’s hilarious that Carrie defines “moving forward” as “looking back a decade-plus,” but we’ve almost come to expect that from her by now. Of course, the news that Kim Cattrall is returning for exactly one scene in which she interacts with no other cast members is also something of a selling point. We’ll have much more to say about that news in tomorrow’s pod. For now, we’re almost willing to believe.
