Girl, you almost had us with this one. Rebecca Ferguson hit the London premiere red carpet of her new Apple TV series Silo, working one of the hottest, and in our opinion, closest to being played out trends of 2023: the Big Suit. Except this time, she took the proportions to even crazier levels:

We have to admit, we’re pretty taken with it. The length of that coat/jacket lends the whole look a real sense of drama to it. The trend for these slouchy formal coats seems to be to just render them a size or two too large, but to our eyes, this would work so much better if the sleeves were hemmed and the shoulders were either padded or fitted to her better. Right now, she just looks like she borrowed some guy’s coat. We’re happy that we can see her feet, but the hem on those pants is huge and extremely visible. We think we might have liked the whole look a lot more if it wasn’t rendered in beige, which does nothing for it. This could’ve been stunning in red.

That looks like a perfectly decent way to pass the time; full of cliches and loaded with recognizable stars.
