And now, a study in contrasts. The Nics Cage and Hoult  came to the New York premiere of their film Renfield displaying very different approaches to their style for the evening. One might even say that their rather distinct outfits reflect their personalities and preferences somewhat.

We say that if you weren’t expecting Nicolas Cage to be wearing something along the lines of a glitter jacket and zebra print pants, then perhaps you don’t know or understand the man. Say what you will, but he definitely knows how to dress for impact. It’s giving Elvis and that’s very much by design. As tacky as this might be, you can tell it’s of fairly high quality.

We’re not entirely convinced on the doll boots, but just as Cage is giving updated Elvis, Hoult is giving American Gigolo, which suits him perfectly. We’re not usually all that keen on men’s suit looks of all one color, but he wears it really well.

The funny thing about these outfits is that they reflect their wearers but they’d also work perfectly fine if they switched. Hoult could absolutely make those pants work and Cage would probably look amazing in that creamy getup.

This looks extremely silly.
