Best Actor Oscar nominee Paul Mescal got one final bit of campaigning in before voting closed. He celebrated the occasion in pearls, as one does.
It’s giving Amish Harry Styles. Like a lot of his public ensembles, it feels part of the way there, if that makes any sense. There’s whimsy in the collar design and the shirt is pretty cute, but the rest of it just sort of recedes. He’s a fascinating actor. a charming celebrity, and he has an interesting public style, but we tend to think the style doesn’t quite rise to the level of the talent and charm. Still, he’s somewhat new to this level of attention and career focus, so we feel like he should get some leeway to figure it out while also getting some positive support for trying to be interesting in his choices. We are mildly curious as to what he’ll wear to prom night.
