The thing about Julia Garner is, if you invite her to an awards show red carpet, the lady is going to show up TURNED OUT.
She is a master at choosing the perfect “I WILL NOT BE IGNORED” dress for any occasion. We briefly considered putting this one up to a vote, but thought better of it because the Bitter Kittens really loathe Gucci’s particular brand of flamboyance and it would have been a massacre of a vote. Still, while we think this is not exactly tasteful or chic, it is a lot of fun and totally unique when compared to most of the other attendees. That’s why it got the spotlight. That’s why she knows what she’s doing. It might be fun to play “How would you edit this design, T Lo?” but in the end, we think it’s a little pointless. It’s supposed to be this over-the-top. It’s supposed to be a little harsh in its boldness. Removing or editing the elements kind of misses the point of the design. We can’t say we love this, but we appreciate it for not being normal.
