Mrs. Fashion wears the ultimate Frankendress to the Brit Awards and we are forced to admit that she’s pulling this goofy-ass design off, for the most part. You should prepare yourself for the scrolldown, however. There’s a serious screwy skirt in your near future.
It really does almost, sort of, kind of work, doesn’t it? The idea of a skirt made to look like a moto jacket tied around the waist is a pretty sound one, all things considered. Like, at least the folks at McQueen were smart enough not to include sleeves in the design. From the waist down, this is working. The boots are fabulous and they coordinate well with the skirt. The fishnets make a nice touch. But the combination of a leather bustier and a sheer tank top is an exceedingly strange one. We realize that being married to a billionaire who owns half of fashion has its perks, but that necklace, while stunning, has absolutely nothing to do with the rest of the look.
