She may have worn one of our favorite film costumes of the year, but we’re afraid we’re not as much in love with what The Banshees of Inisherin star Kerry Condon wore to the New York Film Critics Circle Awards.
It’s not a bad dress at all. It’s a just-okay dress – which is all fine and good, but we think an actress who’s nearly a shoo-in for an Oscar nom should be dressing with a little more impact right now. It strikes us as a little odd to choose a strapless dress for January in New York, but the slightly off-season vibe isn’t really an issue so much as it’s a forgettable design and the styling’s a little too low-key. The necklace is gorgeous but it doesn’t really pop or shine here. The shoes are more or less the same: nice enough, but they don’t really stand out.
