Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith and Family at the EMANCIPATION Los Angeles Premiere

Posted on December 01, 2022

The Smith family came out in full force – and high fashion – to support patriarch Will upon his return to public life after the scandal of his Oscar slap. There has been so much talk about whether Will “deserves” to be forgiven and we can’t roll our eyes hard enough at it. Mel Gibson was on tape telling the mother of his child that he hoped she got raped and he’s still out there making movies. Ezra Miller kidnapped and assaulted fans and his massive-budget superhero movie is still on track for release. Brad Pitt assaulted his wife and child on a plane, which spurred on an FBI investigation. No one’s asking if he “deserved” to have Bullet Train come out this year. Will Smith lost his temper in a very public manner at the worst possible time for it. It might be a good idea to not invite him back to the Oscars for a while, but there’s no reason for anyone to be assuming that his career should suffer long-term damage for it.

Will Smith

Love the color, love the shirt collar, love the diamond. You know Jada picked all of this out.

Trey Smith

Honestly? It may not be the most photogenic look in the world, but the more we take it in, the more we like it. It helps that everything he’s wearing looks extremely expensive.

Willow Smith in Stella McCartney

She’s making those pants look pretty amazing, which is an impressive feat, because we think they’d look like ass on just about anyone else. Also loving the hair and the tons of attitude.

Jaden Smith in MSFTSrep

MSFTSrep calls this the “Anti Federal Reserve Suit,” which…okay. Seems like a kind of mixed message when it’s printed on a thousand-dollar outfit, but what do we know? Weirdness of the print/message aside, it’s a pretty great look.

Jada Pinkett Smith in Stéphane Rolland Couture

She does really great with these dramatic, unusual, sci-fi sorts of gowns, but we have to admit that the mismatched whites kind of bug. We can tell it’s deliberate and we’re not opposed to mixing whites in an ensemble, but we don’t think the shape or volume work as well with the slightly off color matching.
