We feel like we should prepare you for the scrolldown that is about to come. Letitia’s been wearing some very chic looks during the Wakanda Forever promo tour, largely by sticking to simple, classic shapes. Despite what you might be thinking based on the above picture, that is not the case for her appearance at the BIFAs.
We bet you didn’t expect things to end up like this, did you? Despite it having a lot of qualities that we tend to think don’t work for red carpets (fussy, edgy, envelope-pushing), we’re strangely captivated by it. Maybe it’s the unexpected factor or maybe it’s the way the severely restrained top half gives way to a bottom half that feels like it’s losing control of itself. There’s a lot of tension in the design and that’s one of our favorite things about good fashion; when the elements work together, but not necessarily easily. We don’t love the parts trailing on the floor and we tend to think this would look better if it were all black, but for the most part, we really like this. Her head styling is gorgeous.
