Emily Blunt Promotes THE ENGLISH in Camilla & Marc, Elie Saab and Vivienne Westwood

Posted on November 11, 2022

The English star Emily Blunt is out in the world, getting the job done and serving up fashion while doing it. Let’s check her efforts.

At GOOD MORNING AMERICA in Camilla & Marc

Love the dress, love the boots. Should they be worn at the same time? We’re leaning toward no, if only because the colors look a little harsh together. It’s a great-looking dress and she’s surprisingly adept at pulling that yellow off, but it doesn’t strike us as the kind of dress that calls for thigh-highs.

Leaving Her Hotel in Elie Saab

You know? We liked this a lot less a minute after looking at it then we did in the first few seconds. The fit is great, but we think the stitching is over-used and kind of goofy-looking. We’d probably like it more if she wasn’t wearing a turtleneck with it and if the buttoned straps were rethought – and by that we mean turned into anything but thick, buttoned straps. Nice boots, though.

At THE LATE SHOW WITH STEPHEN COLBERT in Vivienne Westwood

This is honestly kind of great – and it’s from a bridal collection, believe it or not. The jacket provides pretty decent coverage for when she’s sitting down and the pants look fabulously chic on her.  It’s a really counter-intuitive look in a lot of ways, but it suits her so well.
