Anya Taylor-Joy has a new movie out, which means we are blessed with a veritable cornucopia of head-turning high fashion, because this girl doesn’t do anything in half-measures.

This so sleek and chic, it feels like an outlier in comparison to most of her haute doll fashion looks on this tour. Given the event, showier jewelry wasn’t needed, although the outfit practically begs for it. But it’s nice to see her work something simple and elegant, just to show that she can.

Given the range of textiles, that is an impressively matched set of reds. In fact, we’d say the variety of materials and the perfect match of the color is a lot of what makes this outfit so eye-catching. If the reds were all different shades or if she was in one or two matching textiles, it would be less impressive. LOVE the sheer red hose, which is not something you see often, but works fantastically with this look. The dress is fine enough, but this look is all about the styling.

Another gorgeous doll-fashion ensemble that only she could pull off. She’s really making us love lace, which we didn’t think was possible. Our only critique – and this might have to do with how good the previous ensemble looked on her – is that we tend to think the dress needs hose or tights of some sort, whether patterned or sheer. It’s one of our least fave styles for formalwear, but this girl was born to wear a tight, high ponytail.
