Venice Film Festival 2022: Tessa Thompson in Marc Jacobs at the DON’T WORRY DARLING Premiere: IN or OUT?

Kittens, we are thrilled with the abundance or celebrity red carpetry that September has provided us after an unusual August drought. Between Venice and the VMAs, we’ve been awash in high-drama high fashion lately and in that sea of sparkle and attention-seeking, Tessa Thompson has really managed to stand out this last week or so. We’re telling you this for two reasons. The first is that she wore another attention-grabbing look that requires immediate discussion. The second is that we’re taking a short sandwich break so we’re turning this one over to you.

The bodice and sleeve thingy are a little tricksy for us, but she can handle that kind of weird and that level of volume. Can we just say we ADORE those ridiculous shoes? They made us laugh with delight, they give her the height that dress needs, and they honestly look kind of great paired with it. We realize that there may be some disagreement on this point, hence the following question:
