One the one hand, we have to give Thor: Love and Thunder star Natalie Portman all the credit in the world for working the unworkable and making it look effortless. On the other hand, girl, why’d you pick something so unworkable to begin with?
As we noted when she hit the LA premiere red carpet, she’s ditching the prestige actress looks and just going straight for “I’m a hottie” as her style plan for this one. Marvel superhero promo tours really don’t call for much in the way of nuance, so the fashion tends to be fairly straightforward and middle-of-the-road. The concept here is sound, but that midriff cutout is simply horrifying, even if she’s managing to pull it off.
