And now, as a sort of style amuse bouche now that the Cannes Film Festival has concluded, some classic Cool Girl Chic, New York style, from the person best suited to serving it.
Perfection. No notes. Love the shades. She’s been breaking away from the Studio 54 styles that really defined her for a while there. She’s extremely well-suited to fashions from the late seventies to the mid-eighties, but it can be a trap when you find out you’ve got a knack for certain decades. Granted, there’s still something of a slight ’80s vibe here, but it’s toned down considerably. She looks great, like herself, and relatively unfussed.
We’ve gotta say, we’ve missed these sorts of low-key celebrity publicity events. The major red carpet stuff has clearly been back for a while, but we’re starting to see more of these sidewalk appearances for talks or panels, which is making these two cranky bloggers happy. Once again, it feels like nature is healing in the celebrity attention-seeking arena.
