Melanie Lynskey is the kind of celebrity who’s super-talented and also genuinely sweet, which means she’s the kind of celebrity who rarely gets the level of attention she deserves. We’re so thrilled for her that her work of late is winning her awards and critical acclaim, landing her on more talk shows and red carpets, and providing the exposure an actor of her talent, doing the kind of work she’s been doing, deserves. In shallower news, she also deserves a really cute dress and we think she’s found it.

We would quibble a bit that the hem could be longer. And we’ve never been fans of those floaty kinds of non-sleeves. Love the sandals and the jewelry, which are well-chosen and elevate the look considerably. We might have rec’d a silver bag, just to keep things a little more cohesive. But still! Cute! The shape, color and fit are fantastic.
