Jean Smart and Hannah Einbinder, our two current favorite masters of sarcasm, are back for the second season of Hacks and we are more than ready for another season of these two slinging insults at each other. For the premiere, they stepped out in stylish styles that played to each of their preferences.
Jean Smart in Badgley Mischka
Jean tends to prefer elegance with a mature sexiness to it, like an American version of Helen Mirren. We really love the bodice and sleeves, but the skirt could’ve used more volume or flair to balance it out. Hair and makeup are fabulous and the jewelry is pretty. Love that delicate star necklace.
Hannah Einbinder in Alexandre Vauthier
It’s simple to the point of skirting up to the line of generic, but it’s nicely tailored and it’s hard to argue that she looks bad in it. Her makeup looks great and the subtle jewelry choices really suit her. We think the black pumps are a meh sort of choice; the only part of the look that truly disappoints.
