Mr. and Mrs. Top Gun stepped out in front of the wall of Cannes cameras. They both delivered their usual style preferences.

And by that we mean that he was generic in his choices and she was anything but. He started off well on this press tour, but his style has gotten a bit less worthy of attention each time he steps out. He’s back to dressing like a film executive. Oh, well. We suppose we should be grateful that she’s doing her usual heavy lifting to keep thing interesting. We don’t actually like anything she’s got going on here – except for the boots – but we appreciate that she didn’t step out on a Cannes photo call in some sort of generic business suit. We realize Tom Cruise will never be that guy, but we always find it so disappointing and unimaginative when stars do these glamorous publicity events looking like they work in an office.
