“And Just Like That…” Star Cynthia Nixon in Christopher John Rogers on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen”

We go back and forth between being amused that Cynthia Nixon is on a press tour defending her And Just Like That character arc from all of the backlash (in which we participated in the last few podcasts) and also feeling sorry for her, because the storyline was taken from her own life, so it must feel like she’s defending choices she made a long time ago. It must be so weird for her. To be fair, she’s also promoting The Gilded Age, so she’s got a lot of ways to deflect. One thing she doesn’t need to defend? This super-cute Christopher John Rogers dress:

This is a really great choice for her and it feels like something perfectly chosen for this show. Look at how classically chic she was when she was visiting Seth Meyers. Here, she’s working something a little funkier and a lot more colorful. Both styles look great on her. Do we wish she’d picked a more colorful shoe? Of course, but the black pump really is the trendier choice, even if we think it’s kind of boring.
