We have notes, we’re afraid.

As much as we love the idea of The Rock in an aubergine velvet suit, this just isn’t hitting as hard as it should. We’re not sure we love the cut of the pants, but that bothers us less than the footwear and shirt choices, neither of which really help the suit. They both look like something you’d wear with a lightweight summer suit, not something as dark and heavy as this. We think a pair of black dress shoes and socks make a much better choice and we think a shirt with some color or even a subtle (or not-so-subtle) print would be better than that plain white dress shirt. We’re a little sad now. This could have been such an amazing look, but it feels like he got a little timid about the finishing touches, as if he didn’t want to come off too dandy.
