We won’t deny that, after a ten-day stretch covering the VMAs, the Met Gala and the Emmys, we’ve pretty much reached the “This is really pretty, you guys” portion of our red carpet commentary cycle. But, well…
This is really pretty, you guys. It feels like an updated take on a classic Grace Kelly look, with the entire color story switched out for a woman whose own coloring is very different from Kelly’s. The bold green paired with gold and brown accessories looks spectacular on her and feels a little unexpected for this style. She’s got a great record and knack for working some fairly offbeat forms of modern fashion, but she looks fantastic when she wants to go in a more traditional, borderline conservative direction.
