Ah, there she is. Nothing quite goes together and the overall effect is vaguely ridiculous. How very Carrie. The silly hat is on point. The multiple bags are an affectation about as practical as her heels are on that sidewalk. The  … jumpsuit? With tails? About as incomprehensible as that time Carrie wore a belt around her bare waist.

In middle age, Miranda has evidently found a love for both progressive politics and hideous textiles. The wedges, belt and Bernie bag are all kind of cutely on point for her, but that dress is just plain ugly.

We can’t say we understand the choice to dress Charlotte in these puffy skirts and peasant tops with these quirky little bags. None of it feels quite like her, but maybe there’s a story reason behind it.
