The more we think about it, the more we’re convinced our initial impression was correct. The stars really did come together to put on a fashion show last night, sensing that folks wanted a little glamour in the traditional sense right now. It just felt like a lot of stars were champing at the bit to show off what big, glamorous stars they are this time around, Zoom format be damned. How else can we explain the sudden explosion of classic Silver Screen Blonde looks coming from the likes of Anya Taylor-Joy, Amanda Seyfried, and now Elle Fanning, who’s giving us the full Grace Kelly works?

This is just gorgeous. It’s also a fantastic way to signal that her Disney days are behind her, while still pulling off regal, Hollywood royalty-style drag. The color is gorgeous on her; love the up do; dying over the jewelry and the crystal detail in the  gown. Sexy, glamorous, sophisticated and chic. Get this woman a piano to drape herself over, a cocktail to sip, and a circle of admirers hanging on her every word. This look demands such things.
