And now here’s Miss Anya, reminding you that you never can predict or expect what she’s going to wear next, unless you keep it to the exceedingly broad “Whatever it is, it’ll be dramatic as hell.” After the gorgeous metallic green of her jaw-dropping Dior ensemble for the Golden Globes, she takes a slight turn in style direction (while still keeping it Dior) for the Critics Choice Awards.

Bowing down to a queen. This is amazing to look at. Her coloring begs for bold, rich color choices in her style and it’s so great to see her indulge that so consistently. We think she and (more importantly) her beauty team and her stylist Law Roach are all very savvy about the inherent drama of her own looks. We’ve made this comparison before and believe us, it has nothing to do with any supposed resemblance or similarity in career, but she always reminds us of Audrey Hepburn; an uncommonly and unusually beautiful star who knew how to maximize the distinctness of her own face through style choices. The result is that she doesn’t look like anyone else you can think of and you can’t quite tear your eyes away because of that. The sheer gloves and the earrings are absolutely divine choices that make the whole look come together in a really strong, almost regal sort of way.
