You may know Daniel Fletcher from his time making it to the finals on Netflix’s short-lived fashion competition Next In Fashion, but he’s far more than some reality television dilettante. His London-based contemporary menswear brand DANIEL w. FLETCHER was established in 2015 after he graduated from Central Saint Martins. Opening Ceremony bought his graduate collection, and produced a capsule collection of eight of his designs for Spring/Summer ’16. He had already worked at Louis Vuitton, Victoria Beckham, Burberry and Lanvin before launching his own label. He was nominated for the LVMH prize in 2017 and was one of the winners of the European Semi-Final of the International Woolmark Prize in 2018. His buzz has been growing steadily since and he’s one of the first names that tend to pop up in any discussion surrounding up-and-coming designers. We love his coolly modern take on menswear; the way it spins on traditional motifs and shapes while freshening them up. The feel is youthful and bold, but anchored in classic design.
