Alison Brie Promotes “Happiest Season” in LBV on “Ellen”

Miss Alison’s got a busy holiday promotional season, what with her role as the uptight sister in Happiest Season and her role as the uptight college friend (she’s found her niche, it seems) in the upcoming Promising Young Woman. And like any smart actress gal with a couple of high-profile projects under her belt, she’s really stepped up her fashion game, to the approval of professional picky bitches such as we.

Having said that, this is kind of an odd design she’s sporting:

The color is great on her and we really like the bottom half, but it feels like everything above the waist utilizes about three times as much fabric as is needed. Nothing wrong with a little volume or a top with a little bit of blouson action to it, but it literally looks like a couple yards of fabric were just wrapped around her.

The hair and makeup’s great and the shoes are SUPER-cute, but that’s a really odd frock the longer we look at it.
