Jared Leto, known ’round these parts as Gucci Jesus, stepped up to his Instagram to festoon himself with free merch from the brand he occasionally represents. Hey, we’ve all got to do what we’ve all got to do to get by in these uncertain times, areweright? If a would-be guru needs to be looked at or to fulfill a contractual obligation, who are we to question such things? Blessed are the attention-seekers, for they will inherit the Gucci.
Oh, sorry. We probably should’ve warned you about the scrolldown shock. Put your head between your legs and breathe deeply for a few moments until the shock passes.
We’re going to say something that we never would’ve considered as recently as a few years ago: Jared Leto isn’t modeling his Gucci clownwear nearly as well as the models who first wore it. Although to be fair, it’s not like they’re actually rocking these pieces, not one of which appeal to us.
