SJP isn’t going to let a little thing like ALL OF 2020 stop her from getting her flagship shoe store off the ground. She’s been out there several times a week over the summer, dressed for the cameras and helping her customers find the perfect fit. We’ve gotta respect that hustle. It’s about as New York as New York gets.
And we’ve gotta say, she really nailed the “I’m the manager here, what seems to be the problem” sort of look. It’s cute enough for cameras (and NYC retail work), but not so attention-seeking or frivolous as to appear silly. It’s a good work outfit, all things considered. We’re surprised that we find the skirt cute, since the ruffles and eyelet would normally be a bit of a turnoff, but the extremely muted non-color helps play down the frippery and the no-nonsense styling really works with it. Attalady. Sell some shoes today.
