Mrs. Cathy had herself a very busy day yesterday as she stepped out in public not once, but twice! And in two different outfits! We are giddy over here! Especially since she CLEARLY and OBVIOUSLY listened to our advice because she values our counsel above all others. Shut up it’s true.

First up, Cathy keeps things simple because she’s got some royal manual labor to perform! We are beyond thrilled to see the Duchess pairing a low-key day dress with some cute white kicks. We’ve been begging her to do that for ages. Because there was actual in-front-of-cameras labor to be performed, she wisely opted for a headband so as not to have the royal hair obscuring her face for pictures. That’s our Cathy. Savvy down to the smallest details.

But wait! Her service for the day was not complete!

This time, she got a little more dressed up because she was meeting with people on camera. This look isn’t quite as practical for wielding a box-cutter, but given the SPARKLY PUMPS we suspect the point was to show up looking appropriately royal. The dress and mask are cute and well-coordinated, which is a sentence we’d never have envisioned writing six months ago. But we are SHOCKED that she didn’t wear espadrilles with either of these day dresses! Can it be our years of whining about them have finally gotten through to her? Cathy, can you hear us? Are you hanging on our every word? Send Meghan some flowers!
