And now, two ladies who both took a leap forward in their style. Two ladies who really stepped up their game and are redefining “diva” to suit themselves. Two ladies who we will now pit against each other, cagematch-style. Choose your Style Warrior:

T’s Pick: Elle Fanning in Armani Privé at “The Roads Not Taken” Premiere

T’s Defense: Because it’s classic ELEGANZA with a youthful and fresh vibe. It takes some good instincts and bearing to make a gown like this come off deb ball-ready instead of old-fashioned or stale. This isn’t innovative, trendy or even forward-looking. Just really, really well done. She needs to start getting her due as a major style player among the red carpet set.

L’s Pick: Lizzo in Mary Katrantzou at the NAACP Image Awards

Lo’s Defense: Because she has simply never look so damn good, full stop. Every aspect of her style took a major leap forward with this look. The polish, chicness and elegance are all in place, but her essential sense of fun, self-confidence and bravado haven’t been sacrificed. She’s giving us a roadmap on how to navigate high-fashion expectations while remaining true to herself.

Two different approaches! Two different bitches with opinions! Two stunning lewks! THIS SOUNDS LIKE A TOUGH ONE, KITTENS!
