It’s Monday morning and we suspect you could use an Absolute Queen looking her absolute finest to kickstart your week.
There’s no question that this is a Personal Best for Miss Lizzo. We’re thrilled to see her following this trajectory. She exploded onto the scene all boldness and bravado, brightness and drag. But we felt like she was slowly heading toward a more high-fashion way of presenting herself and wondered if she’d be able to pull it off without sacrificing her essential Lizzo-ness. This is just about as perfect a response to that concern as we could have imagined. The dress is bold, colorful, fun and eye-catching in a way that really speaks to who she is as a person and performer (literally, since it’s got her name emblazoned on the front). What distinguishes this look is how much her styling game has stepped up. The fit is close to perfect, the jewelry and bag are well chosen, and the hair and makeup are absolutely drop-dead gorgeous.
