Kittens, we’re back to business, well-fed and well-rested! We hope you are too. To help get you back up to speed, let’s jump into some Monday morning judging time and limber up a little. Pope Tilda, as she is wont to do, kindly showed up in something worth talking about. The topic of today’s discussion? That thing the Pontiff of Fashion only occasionally indulges in  – and rarely to this level:

Bold, bright, rich color. It’s a bit jarring to see her in something so eye-searing. Not that she ever avoided color in any strict sense, although that’s more lip than we’re used to seeing from her and the hair color takes a bit getting used to. If she’d come out in her usual platinum blonde, she might have been indistinguishable from “Modern Love”-era Bowie.

She’s always been ride-or-die for Haider Ackermann and in most other ways, this is all a very typical papal jawn, from the menswear inspiration to the oversized fit to the focus-pulling show – it’s all very classically Tilda in that Tilda sort of way. It’s just that Tilda is feeling very bold at the moment. Or rather, Haider Ackermann is and Tilda, as always, is along for that ride.
