It’s Good Lady Cate. At the Fashion Awards. In Armani Privé. Given these three indisputable facts…
Are we wrong to have expected something a bit more … something?
Look, this is very pretty and aside from the fit in the bust, which is a bit too small on her, she’s clearly working it, if not WERQing it. But that minty green is hard color to make chic and the style of the gown, while pretty enough, seems a little basic for a dress-wearer of GLC’s caliber. It’s okay but not earth-shattering, with one or two elements that aren’t quite to our tastes. We don’t hate it, but we really can’t love it – and we’ve tried. Since this is one of those instances where we’re getting all judgey just because someone deigned to not dazzle us, we’re turning the final say on this one over to you guys.
