Why Steffi. Look at you, all “returning to form” and stuff.
After years of more upscale promo style, in the vein of a serious chanteuse, artist and actress, we find the return of Art School Steffi to be a breath of fresh air. Girlfriend knows who her fanbase really is and she knows if she’s selling a makeup line, it won’t be snatched up by the members of the various academies whose awards she collected or the critics who lauded her maturity and growth as an artist. She’s selling to the Little Monsters, so she’s serving them Mother Monster (uptown version). She looks kinda great and purely on-brand, which is how a celebrity is supposed to look when launching a product. If we have any quibbles it’s with the craft store christmas wreath bow on her head. The rest of it’s fun. Love the hand jewelry.
