It’s that time of year where the entertainment industry starts handing out awards like candy and that means two things, darlings. Arguing about the nominations and judging the promotional poledance fashion. Let’s see how your faves and not-so faves did.

BILLY CRUDUP / Corey Ellison – “THE MORNING SHOW”
PETER DINKLAGE / Tyrion Lannister – “GAME OF THRONES”

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series
JENNIFER ANISTON / Alex Levy – “THE MORNING SHOW”
HELENA BONHAM CARTER / Princess Margaret – “THE CROWN”
OLIVIA COLMAN / Queen Elizabeth II – “THE CROWN”
JODIE COMER /Villanelle – “KILLING EVE”
ELISABETH MOSS / Offred/June – “THE HANDMAID’S TALE”
We enjoyed Colman and HBC in this season of The Crown, but we’re not sure either work was award-worthy. Honestly? Even though we’ve never seen the show, we’re kind of rooting for Jennifer Aniston. It’s time for her to move into the “industry recognition” phase of her career and pick up some awards for herself.
Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Comedy Series
ALAN ARKIN / Norman Newlander – “THE KOMINSKY METHOD”
MICHAEL DOUGLAS / Sandy Kominsky – “THE KOMINSKY METHOD”
BILL HADER / Barry – “BARRY”
ANDREW SCOTT / The Priest – “FLEABAG”
TONY SHALHOUB / Abe Weissman – “THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL”
Andrew Scott. We just rewatched Fleabag and he gives a charming and heartbreaking performance.

“BIG LITTLE LIES”
“THE CROWN”
“GAME OF THRONES”
“THE HANDMAID’S TALE”
“STRANGER THINGS”
Hmm. This one’s tough. Maybe because we’re underwhelmed by all the choices.
